It has been developed by SOS Children’s Villages to work as a reminder of the hazardous working conditions of some of the most dangerous jobs in the world - performed by millions of children worldwide.

In the tobacco industry, young children face terrible working conditions as they handle tobacco leaves for long hours, they are exposed to 50 cigarettes worth of nicotine daily. This leads to nicotine addiction and Green Tobacco Sickness, causing nausea and other health risks. Poisonous snakes and spiders are also common on the fields.
